Co-founded by Isabel Bonenfant and Kate Kellman, Of Note Stationers is an ode to the handwritten note and a tribute to keeping the art of letter writing alive. Their mission is simple, to connect people and deepen relationships through the handwritten word. And they have done just that by crafting a bold and stunning line of stationary products. Their products mark big moments, such as their Confetti Birthday card, and a lot of the smaller "just because" ones like the Keep Doing You card. You may remember this duo from our 8th volume, the Roots Issue. Catch that full feature here.
Of Note Stationers are influenced by the by-gone days of writing notes and letters by hand for meaningful
correspondence and even just to say 'hello'. In today's world of texting, emails and even snapchatting communications, we've seen a complete departure from the process of sitting down, taking out a pen and piece of paper, and writing a note to a friend or loved one. Of Note's line of stationary products is perfect for big moments and even those small ones...in fact, they specialize in celebrating those why not moments often overlooked...they are committed to "illuminating the magic of everyday." Further influenced by slow movements, or a even a back-to-your roots reasoning, they've partnered with Repeat Press - a letterpress company based in Somerville, MA - there is not only the lost art messaging found in their mission, but also the lost art method in their production...two things that go beautifully hand-in-hand.
You can shop Of Note online via their Etsy store, and you can also find them in Boston-area retailers such as Black Ink.
