Scoop Sights was launched in 2014 by Katelyn Williams, a Louisiana native and lover of ice cream. Pre-dating the launch of Scoop Sights, Katelyn always had an urge to make ice cream, though she knew she needed to keep her sister in mind when experimenting, as she suffered from a chronic disease that made her sensitive to ice cream. After much experimentation, she discovered the right combination of ingredients and process to make her delicious ice cream. She went with a coconut cream base and the rest was history. Scoop Sights is 100% vegan and has no nuts, gluten, dairy, or soy. Today there are 5 different flavors: Salty Caramel, Lavender, Mint Choco Chip, Chocolate Happiness, and Salty Toasted Coconut. All are amazing!
In order to expand and get into a larger kitchen, hire an extra employee or two and get on shelves in some local stores, Scoop Sights has launched a Kickstarter Campaign to raise the necessary funds. Currently, they have just 5 days to go and are so close to reaching their goal!
Scoop Sights is offering amazing backer rewards for those contributing through the Kickstarter. A pledge of just $25 will get you a dozen pops delivered right to your door (*Boston area only). Ever wanted to create your own ice cream flavor? You can do that too! Be sure to help Scoop Sights out and fund their campaign, share with friends, and try out some ice cream for yourself! It’s easy to support a product that tastes this good!
This weekend you can find Scoop Sights at the Farmers’ Market at Mill No. 5 on Sunday (December 6th) from 10 AM - 2:30 PM. Mill No. 5 is located at 250 Jackson Street in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Are you a resident of or working in Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Medford, Boston, Brighton, Allston, Brookline, or Charlestown? You're in luck! Scoop Sights will deliver pint or pop orders right to your door!
