Just off of Camden's main street lies Sugar Tools, a small and unassuming store-front offering unique items with a Maine flair. Sugar Tools opened in 2010 and was founded by New Yorker-turned-New Englander, Amy O'Donnell. Shelves and store fixtures are brimming with amazing items; there's something for everyone. Clothing, housewares, kids items to gardening supplies all stock the shelves. Items are often seasonally influenced with new products being introduced regularly - meaning this shop is worth multiple stop-ins!
What makes Sugar Tools such a unique destination really comes down to their product offering. Again...there's something for everyone. O'Donnell has sought out some amazing brands to stock the shelves at her store. From larger more well-known companies to smaller, independent makers and designers. The products are sourced locally, across the U.S. and even abroad. Beyond being broad in their characteristics and purpose, Sugar Tools products are a touch laid back and embrace that Maine vacation lifestyle - "the way life should be" - we can embrace that.
A select number of goods are available at the Sugar Tools online shop - but be aware, more items are available in store than online, making the visit to see all the items available for yourself is worth the excursion. Sugar Tools is open seasonally from May 1st - January 1st from 10 AM - 6 PM daily. Swing by the store at 29 Bayview Street in Camden, Maine or visit online year-round. Happy shopping!
