t.e.l.l. New England was formed in 2013 as a creative outlet and way to express a unified love for New England through photography and storytelling. It has since grown into a quarterly digital publication that consistently delivers unique stories from New England by New Englanders. Almost three years later, we believe now is the time to bring our digital publication to print so that we can continue our mission to support and celebrate our community. But, we can't do this alone, we need the continued support of our fellow New Englanders! In order to take t.e.l.l. to print, we need to raise $18,000. It's a lot, but we value your contributions and feel as though we have something great to offer. Check out the below links to learn more about our rewards, and initiative, and be sure to check out our campaign video, filmed & edited by local company, Earl Studios!
Since 1974, Cambridge Naturals has been supplying Porter Square and the greater Boston community with quality health and wellness goods. Their mission is simple; to provide customers with products that are sourced locally, organically, and ethically via fair trade and direct trade channels. Further, a portion of profits are donated to community initiatives that support social or environmental change in the Cambridge area. Cambridge Naturals offers a wide range of products, many made right here in New England.
We always love when we stumble upon companies who are family-owned and operated...they are typically full of character and have a commitment to bettering the community in which they grow in that's hard to match. We had the opportunity to meet the family behind Cambridge Naturals last winter for our Roots Issue and were inspired after hearing their story. Co-founded in 1974 by Michael and Elizabeth Kanter, they are the backbone of Cambridge Naturals; Michael the CVO, or Chief Visionary Officer, and Elizabeth a certified Nutritionist and your go-to for any health and wellness questions in the store. Their daughter Emily fulfills the role of Marketing Director and Second-Generation Co-Owner. This whole-family initiative continues to grow in Cambridge, and has become a neighborhood staple for many happy and long-standing customers.
Stop into the store to shop Cambridge Natural's grocery offerings and their extensive line of health and wellness items. You'll be happy to find many amazing goods from local makers and beyond. They're open 8 AM - 8PM until December 23rd, and open 8 AM - 5 PM on Christmas Eve. And remember, when you shop Cambridge Naturals, you're also giving back to the community. Shopping smart, something we can get behind!
