The Everyday Napkin is a project born from Kathryn Yee's design and styling studio, Bash Studio. The concept of The Everday Napkin came to life after a simple realization of how wasteful we are when dining and using paper napkins. The cloth napkins use upcycled materials, cut into small batches. The found materials are selected with design, and function mind, and each napkin is cut down using less materials than a traditional cloth napkin. The Everday Napkin has a simple mission; use less and cut back on waste.
The Everyday Napkin is hand cut and sewn in Massachusetts by a small team of dedicated makers, including Kathryn and her mom.
All fabrics are selected with utmost care - choosing beautiful materials to perfectly pair with their dark and contrasting stitch. All of the linens and twills used for the napkins are pre-washed to reduce shrinkage and also make for the softest fabrics possible. Each napkin measures about 7 inches x 7 inches, and come in a package of 7...one for each day of the week!
In 2016, the team plans on incorporating The Napkin Bar, a mix and match and build-your-own package that was available during their 2015 holiday pop-ups, into their website product availability.
